Newly built rendered cottage with basalt stone constructed wings & outbuildings around a cobbled granite courtyard

This is a newly completed cottage finished with a mixture of render and stone. Its modern furnishings contrast with the simple traditional shutters and timber floor finishes very successfully.

The site was formerly corner of a field adjacent to a wood. In conjunction with ParkHood landscape architects, the wood has been extended to incorporate the gardens and driveway.
