This dwelling is situated on an irregularly shaped plot in a mature wooded setting. A totally symmetrical formal frontage and forecourt are presented to the road. The building is separated into two blocks. The first block, which contains a formal dining area and lounge, forms a square forecourt space.

The second block which contains the kitchen/living/dining area is set at a deliberate angle which forms a rectangular south facing garden with a suntrap terrace.
