'Fairways', The Links, St. Andrews

We were invited to present a scheme for a residential development of four terraced townhouses which would form part of the world famous St.Andrews Links golf course. Known as the 'Home of Golf', the game has been played there since the 15th Century and is the most frequent venue for The Open Championship.

Whilst beautiful, the historic surrounding area is also highly sensitive - something which had to be taken into consideration during the design process, while also fulfiling the brief of producing a contemporary scheme. The tight, awkward site also proved challenging yet we feel our design met all the necessary criteria and would incorporate extremely well into St. Andrew's.
