Edwin Lutyens' Styled Home

Our clients, having enjoyed modern houses for several years, were eager to infuse their new home with unique character while still embracing modern simplicity. Their vision was clear: "Our main aim is to create something traditional but at the same time take advantage of some more modern and simple lines."

To achieve this, we incorporated a variety of natural materials that enhance both the aesthetic and functional qualities of the home. These materials include cobbles, handmade roof tiles, lime render, and timber flooring, each chosen for their authenticity and timeless appeal. The design emphasises a seamless integration of traditional elements with contemporary design, striking a perfect balance between the old and the new.

One of the standout features of the house is the creative use of level changes. By extending the windows from the basement to the ground floor, we highlighted these transitions and allowed natural light to flow throughout the home.

This Arts and Crafts style home prioritises taste and style over mere glamour. As you explore the property, each corner offers a fresh and intriguing perspective, showcasing thoughtful design and craftsmanship.

This blend of traditional charm and modern simplicity creates a unique and inviting living space, reflecting our clients' desire for a home with true character and individuality.
