Extension to Arts and Craft Style House

This beautiful Art and Crafts styled home was extended to give a growing family more space to relax, and play.

A single storey extension was added to the side of the property, providing a formal dining space and an indoor/outdoor living space. A fireplace was included within the living space as well as large, modern aluminium doors to allow the space to be enjoyed all year round.

A roof light was placed above the dining table, creating a beautiful, naturally lit space for dining and entertaining.

The extension enclosed the garden to the rear of the property, and with the installation of Astroturf, a safe space for the children to play outdoors, with direct sight lines from the living spaces indoors.

The finishes were chosen to be sympathetic to the style of the existing house, creating a harmonious connection between existing and new.
